National Night Out is August 6!

National Night Out brings together communities and involves residents, law enforcement agencies, civic groups, businesses, neighborhood organizations, and local officials. In 2018, more than 75 block parties were held in Shoreline.

National Night Out is August 6, and it is never too early to start planning your block party.

Important

The deadline to apply for road closure permits is Tuesday, July 23.

The City provides this handy guide to help you plan the perfect National Night Out party.

North City Loop Walk

Enjoy a pleasant after-dinner walk around the North City Neighborhood. We’ll start at North City Elementary and make a 2 mile loop by the North City Park, over the 195th pedestrian-only I-5 ridge and Shoreline Park. The second half of this walk takes us through area that is being transformed by the coming of Light Rail. Come enjoy this wonderful area while it is still a quiet part of the City.

Walk is approximately 2 miles / 1 hour Walk Rating: Moderately Easy Meet at: North City Elementary School parking lot, 816 NE 190th St. Walk Leader: Alice

This is part of the City's Shoreline Walks program.


Urban Forest Restoration Work Party at Hamlin Park

Meet at the far north end of the park, next to the NE 166th Street stairs

Join Shoreline's Master Stewards for community work parties at Hamlin Park to remove invasive plants and lay mulch. Everyone is Welcome!

Where: 16006 15th Ave NE, Shoreline, WA 98155. Meet at the far north end of the park, next to the NE 166th Street stairs

Bring: Dress appropriate for the weather and wear sturdy footwear. Gloves, tools, and water will be provided.
