Jeff will also answer questions about how the facility can be used. 185th Street “Planned Action” Challenged in Court

Posted on to News (Updated )

The fight over the rezoning around the planned 185th Street light rail station is, apparently, not over.

On Monday, the Shoreline Preservation Society (SPS) filed a Complaint for Declaratory Judgment against the City of Shoreline. The action seeks to nullify the “planned action ordinance” (Ord. No. 707) which was adopted by the City Council on March 16. SPS has also filed a challenge to Ord. No 707 with the Central Puget Sound Growth Management Hearings Board.

For more information, including the legal documents that were filed with King County, or if you would like to support their efforts, see the SPS blog.
