We invite you to the 16th annual North City tree lighting event. Bring the whole family to Lew Schwab at 180th & 15th Ave NE to help light the 25 foot “tree” on top of the North City water tower.
There will be live music and children can have their pictures taken with Santa (courtesy of the North City Walgreens.) We will have coffee and other refreshments to help keep you warm, so don’t let the weather keep you from coming out.
We will be collecting non-perishable food items for Hopelink.

Fred Kent, the President of Project for Public Spaces, calls Placemaking “the thing that turns a neighborhood, street, or city from a place you can’t wait to get through to one you never want to leave.” If you are a Shoreline resident who longs to make your neighborhood memorable, wonderful place, this workshop is for you.
This fun and high-energy workshop includes a working potluck dinner, fascinating placemaking concepts, inspiring case studies, and ample time to share and process your ideas. If you are creative, passionate, or simply curious about improving the function of your local public realm with “lighter, quicker, cheaper” placemaking projects, we invite you to come to the workshop and collaborate with like-minded neighbors.
