We're trying something new this fall: In partnership with Urbanist Shoreline and the City of Shoreline, we'll be hosting a community apple cider press party on Sunday, October 11 at the [North City Commons] space. We’ll also have a tie dye station, face painting, and live music!

We need volunteers: people with apples in their yard, people with neighbors with apples in their yard, and people to volunteer to pick the apples in other people's yards before the big day. Apple picking can happen at your convenience — please sign up to find out more about how this will work.

Friday, October 16, join us for Shoreline Parks and Recreation's annual Hamlin Halloween Haunt. Help us create a Halloween adventure for the whole family. Featuring spooky songs and stories around a campfire, a ride on the hay wagon, a costume photo booth, and Halloween games and crafts! NCNA will be there with complimentary hot cider.

We’re also looking for volunteers to help with the activities and setup + cleanup. Easy signup form is here. Thanks for supporting your community!

Each month, the NCNA hosts an informal meetup. No business agendas – just a chance to meet neighbors and chat about our neighborhood. We welcome anyone who wants to learn more about NCNA activities, get the "word on the street” about business developments or city plans for North City. The main thing is to connect in person!

Suni's is a family-owned business that has served North City for over 45 years. RSVP is appreciated, but not required. Just show up and say hi + get to know a few neighbors 🙂

Guests are responsible for their own food and beverage tabs. Alcohol-free beverages are available. No purchase required to attend.

The 18th Annual North City Jazz Walk is coming Tuesday, August 11, 2026! Over the past few years, the NCNA has taken a much more active role in planning and producing this event. In doing this, we've come to realize many of our neighbors in North City don't actually know much about the North City Jazz Walk.

On Tuesday, June 23, we will be hosting a friendly info session about the North City Jazz Walk. Join us at the North City Water District office for some light refreshments and a short presentation about the history of the NCJW and why the NCNA is investing its energy into this community event. Bring your questions, curiosity, and ideas!

What is a Neighborhood Network? It’s a group of neighbors that fosters a hyper-local community, supports each other, and communicates about local events/needs. Interested in starting one on your block?

Join us to learn more, share ideas, and meet like-minded neighbors!

This month's North City Meetup will be at the historic North City Lounge on 15th and 177th. We've moved the meetup event to the third Wednesday of each month. We will meet at the NC Lounge on May 20 and June 17, then rotate the venue to support different North City businesses.

RSVP (Facebook link) appreciated, but not required. Just show up and say hi & get to know a few neighbors!

Guests are responsible for their own food and beverage tabs. This meetup is 21+. Alcohol-free beverages are available. Outside food is OK. No purchase required to attend.

The 18th annual North City Jazz Walk will be held on Tuesday, August 11, 2026

In addition to up-close-and-personal live jazz performances inside five cozy local venues, this year’s event will include two large, free outdoor venues — one sponsored by the North City Neighborhood Association.

This is the 18th year of the NCJW and the NCNA is proud to contribute to the local event. One of the most important ways we help is to draw on the enthusiasm of our neighborhood to help staff this all-volunteer event on the big day.

See the Jazz Walk website for more information.
